Still Life Studies

I've been challenging myself to do more studies this year, particularly (digital) painting since I've always been a bit intimidated by it. I decided I want to do more stylised and possibly hand-painted 3D assets, and thought this would be a good place to start.

It's quite a nice calming activity and I think they're getting better. The very first 2 I did (the teapot and decanter) are a bit of a mess but definitely nice to look back on for comparison (they're alright if you squint real hard!). I've found I have a habit of shying away from higher saturation and dark colours in 2D so I am working on that too.
